Should I empty the pool in winter?
No, emptying the swimming pool over the winter months is not recommended for various reasons. With the reduced usage and lower light levels, pool maintenance in winter decreases dramatically.

Should I cover the pool in winter?
If your pool is located in a dusty environment or close to trees or shrubs that shed leaves in winter, it is a good idea to cover the pool surface with an appropriate material. If this is done, it is suggested that frequent checks are done of the water level and quality to ensure that everything is still in working order.

Will I need to repaint the pool in future?           
After choosing good quality materials and with the right care and attention, swimming pools rarely require major maintenance. However every five years or so you may need to empty the pool to repaint the surface or fix wear and tear.  This job entails a few days work by professionals and ensures a long term trouble free lifespan on your initial investment.
